With the introduction of the new Medicare rebate, you have the opportunity to receive 12 individual sessions and a further 12 group therapy sessions per calendar year covered by Medicare.

 PsychCentral bulk-bills their clients with a:

 GP Mental Health Plan from a General Practitioner

Referral from a Psychiatrist

Referral from a  Paediatrician

Subsequent session: $120
* 1 session = up to 50 minutes

Assessments

Psychological assessments can provide and effective tool to recognise psychological disorders, or obtain information about the current state of mind and level of functioning. The information gathered is then used to address and treat presenting psychological disorders and implement appropriate treatment and therapy. The interview commonly gathers information about the client's background, education, employment history, interests and activities, health, family, relationships, psychological history, mental status, diagnosis and impression, treatment plan and recommendations. These assessments can be an effective way to communicate to educational, organisational and Governmental settings, and other service providers. These include, but are not limited to:
